Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and Deloitte China West China successfully organized a symposium on talent strategic cooperation

The Talent Strategy Cooperation Symposium between Deloitte West China and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics was successfully held in the university's 109 Hongyuan Building on the morning of March 28.

Tan Liang, Partner-in-Charge of Deloitte West China, Zhang Shu, Partner of Deloitte China Tax & Business Consulting, Xie Xiaomin, Partner of Deloitte China Financial Consulting, Gao Jingjing, Senior Manager of Deloitte China Tax & Business Consulting, Li Na, Senior Manager of Deloitte China West China Office of Partner-in-Charge, Wang Lu, Senior Manager of Deloitte China Human Resource Department, and Jilu, Assistant Manager of Deloitte China West China Office of Partner-in-Charge; Zhuo Zhi, President of the University; Tang Huojian, Dean of Academic Affairs; Zhao Haicheng, Dean of Domestic Cooperation & Development, He Jiaming, Dean of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, Lv Jia, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, Yang Changhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Accounting, and Lv Min, Vice Dean of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, were present at the seminar.

Firstly, President Zhuozhi extended a warm welcome to Deloitte and his team. He then gave a general overview of our university's position and discussed the positive outcomes of Deloitte's extensive collaboration with our institution. He noted that Deloitte has had long-standing relationships with the School of Public Finance and Taxation, the School of Accounting, and the School of Economics and Management. Through several initiatives, including the Tax Elite Challenge, tax lectures, tax practical courses, and Deloitte Scholarships, the company has assisted in developing teaching staff and cultivating tax talents. Zhuo Zhi expressed his hopes for the future: academic cooperation, think-tank co-construction, and joint nurturing would be enhanced in-depth, and the original institutional-level strategic partnership would be upgraded and upgraded to the university level. The university would collaborate with Deloitte to jointly cultivate elites of the workplace and composite talents of society, drawing on Deloitte's all-around service capability and influence in the field of professional services, as well as the top academic capability and talent base of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.

Tan Liang gave an overview of Deloitte West China's development history and thanked the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) for supplying Deloitte with excellent candidates. He also acknowledged the accomplishments of previous joint projects and expressed the hope that by strengthening the university's strategic partnership, both parties would benefit from further development.

The school-enterprise partnership between our school and Deloitte fully exploits the advantages of both parties, and we are confident that as the breadth and depth of the association continue to be strengthened, and both parties work together to achieve the results, the future will see an increase in the fruitfulness of the outcomes.
