On April 3rd, 2018, the school of Finance and Taxation (SPFT) at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) held the opening ceremony of the Research Institute of Public Economics and Policies (RIPEP) in Hongyuan building. A large number of experts and scholars attended the ceremony who came from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics, Xiamen University, Sichuan University, the Madrid Catholic University, the Milan Catholic University and other academic institutions.
The Vice Chancellor of SWUFE, Prof. Xiao Ma, welcomed experts and scholars on behalf of the university. Prof. Ma and Prof. Massimo Bordigon unveiled the nameplate of the Public Economy and Policy Institute. Prof. Jiaming He, the branch secretary of SPFT, read out the list of members in the RIPEP scientific body and award these members letters of appointment, together with Prof. Dean Rong Liu.
After the nameplate unveiling, Prof. MassimoBordigon, Prof. Baoyun Qiao, Prof. Ricardo Mora and Prof. Shihe Fu delivered keynote speeches respectively.
